Zebra Fetch Robotics' Flexshelf is a state-of-the-art automated racking system designed specifically for warehouse and logistics applications. It combines the benefits of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with flexible shelving structures to provide an efficient and adaptable storage solution.

At the heart of the AMR Zebra Flexshelf is the mobile robot, which can autonomously navigate through the warehouse and perform various tasks. The robot is equipped with advanced sensors that enable it to sense its surroundings, detect obstacles and navigate safely. It can adapt to changing warehouse conditions in real time and handle orders efficiently.

Flexshelf technology refers to the built-up shelving system used in conjunction with the AMR. The shelves on the AMR consist of modular units that can be individually positioned and adapted. This allows them to meet the specific requirements of the storage processes. The shelves on the AMR are equipped with sensors to help the robot position items accurately and optimise goods tracking.

Groundbreaking lighting

FlexShelf AMRs feature multicolour integrated LED lighting on the sides, providing visual guidance to help order pickers quickly locate the desired item at the storage location and correctly assign it to the bin. The guidance LEDs increase speed and accuracy, while maintaining staffing levels.

Configurable racking options

The innovative fulfilment robot can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of conditions and requirements. On the one hand, there is the option of adapting the picking boxes to the articles in terms of size and number of compartments. On the other hand, the FlexShelf AMR can be adapted to whether order pickers want to use devices such as scanners and handhelds or work without devices. In the second case, up to two displays can be attached and processes can be started and completed via touchscreen.
